Hospitality Tents

A hospitality tent on the day of the Goat Races is the perfect way to say thank you to your valued customers and loyal staff. Each of your guests will receive free entry to the event and of course, your tent

Owners of hospitality tents have an opportunity to maximize on advertising opportunities as you receive free advertising space in the programme and your banners will be visible to the general public in front of your marquee area and around the race course. Distribution of literature and other promotional activities such as competitions are also most welcome.

In keeping with the tradition of the Royal Ascot Goat Races we encourage you to decorate your tent lavishly and ask that you encourage your guests to dress ‘interestingly’.

Details of available tents are listed below. Please note that numbers are only given as a guideline to the tent capacity. You may squeeze a few more people in if you wish, but you will be charged the normal entry price of 10,000 Shs per person for the additional wristbands. Companies are also welcome to share a tent.

Hospitality Tent For 1,000 People (30 x 20metres) Sold to Crane Bank & Goldstar Insurance
Package Includes:

• Marquee Hire and erection
• 2,000 (approx) wristbands offering free entry to the event and your hospitality tent.
• 3 full page color adverts in the programme including one on the outside back cover.
• Banner space in front of your tent. Two banners around the arena/perimeter fencing.
• Tables and Chairs for 1,000 people
• Electricity supply to marquee

Cost: 25,000,000/= + VAT

Not included:

Hospitality Tent For 400 People (24 x 10metres) Sold to Open House & UTL/Kampala Casino
Package Includes:

• Marquee Hire and erection
• 500(approx) wristbands offering free entry to the event and your hospitality tent.
• 3 full page color adverts in the programme.
• Banner space in front of your tent. Two banners around the arena/perimeter fencing.
• Tables and Chairs for 500 people
• Electricity supply to marquee

Cost: 15,000,000/= + VAT

Race Sponsors

In 2010 we have 6 races spread out throughout the day. Race sponsors pay for the Purse (prize money) and in return receive free advertising in the programme, banners in prime position around the racetrack, free entry to the Owners & Sponsors hospitality enclosure, and of course the race carries the name of your organization, with further publicity in the programme on the race programme page. Race Sponsors are also welcome to ‘dress’ their goats in company silks and to have a company banner hung across the track for the duration of their race.

In return for sponsorship of the printing of the programme, , the sponsor gets the front cover and middle pages of the programme for advertising plus one other page, space for 2 banners at the event plus 10 wristbands to the Owners & Sponsors enclosure.

Arena Sponsorship Sold to Rwenzori
Arena sponsorship offers the sponsor prime banner placement around the racetrack as well as a banner on the push card that follows the goats in each race plus a full color page in the programme and 6 wristbands to the Owners & Sponsors enclosure.

Website Sponsorship
Sponsor the Goat Race website. Be seen not only in Kampala, but Worldwide. In return for sponsorship of the website you will have your banner advert displayed on the website Homepage, space for banners at the event, a full page advert in the programme plus 6 wristbands to the Owners & Sponsors enclosure.

Food Concessions : Sold to Efendy’s & Steers, One free concession to The Kids League
Once again we are offering multiple food concessions. All proposals are welcome. We will provide a large tented food & drink sales area with seating and an electrical supply. There will also be an outside seating area. We require operators selling snacks, meals, ice creams, tea, coffee, cakes etc at prices to suite all pockets. The operators will be required to provide their own catering equipment and staffing. Each operator will be responsible for his own security, including security before and after the event. The Royal Ascot Goat Races Ltd can accept no responsibility for loss or damage to your property.

Each operator will receive a quarter page advert in the programme, free entry bands into the event for your staff and you are free to place banner advertising in front of your sales area.

Children’s Play Areas : The Kids League
We require two play areas, one for children over 8 years old and another for young children. The operators must provide their own equipment and the areas must be under the supervision of properly qualified staff. There is no charge for this concession. The operator is free to advertise in front of the play areas and will receive free entry bands into the event for your staff.

Goats

Each Race has an entry of 10 goats, and prices for purchase of a goat vary according to the purse of the race entered.

Owners of a goat in races 1 receive 2 wristbands to the Owners & Sponsors enclosure. Owners of a goat in races 2, 3, 5 & 6 receive 3 wristbands. Owners of a goat in race 4 receive 6 wristbands.
